I've finally decided to update my blog haha...Don't know if anyone is out there, but hopefully someone catches this update :P. I apoligize for the my super duper laziness in advance. =x

It has been a long, long, LONG while though, hasn't it? Nothing much has changed to be honest, I'm on Semester Break right now, a month and a half of "class-free" days. Its wonderful, no 9AM starts , meaning no peak hour train rides, no more length essays and assignments, no more sleeping in class (my occassional hobby for a subject :P). But I have to say, the semester went by really quickly, I wasn't really expecting classes for first semester to fly by so hastily. I'm starting to miss some of the new friends I made in certain classes, and now that semester's over, I probably won't be able to see them anymore :(

Well here it is, 6 months later (:P), pictures nagged by Noel the Orangutan.

Its sitting right next to me, and I have to say, its really big, massive, humongous etc. The Blue LEDs on the side near the fan is quite bright, so much so, it illuminates my room whilst I sleep xD.

The photo was taken with my new phone, so the quality ain't that great (3.2 megapixels only). I'm actually liking the new phone more and more (Nokia 5800). Nokia's first touchscreen, not that bad as I first thought. Its a 'nifty' smartphone, quick fun to use and definitely handy when there are Wi-Fi hotspots :D. Only bad thing is... it leaves so much fingerprints on the touchscreen haha, resorted to using stylus for some buttons and handwriting, as well as surfing the net etc. Have to clean the screen everynight x_X", but oh well, nothing's perfect in this world.

I got my P's the other day as well, so now I can drive solo. Bought a car as well, manual transmission and loving every moment of driving. Even though its a second hand car (10 years old), its pretty slick and stylish [just my opinion :P]. The driving expenditures, insurance etc is driving me crazy though, but thankfully, insurance is a yearly thing and my car has a light engine :D. It only needs refuelling once every fortnight, using about half a tank's worth.

So how's everyone lately? Everybody enjoying their lovely holidays ( I hope!). I've just started taking up badminton again, after a long hiatus of 9 months. I'm so rusty haha, missed so many shots initially. Now i'm getting back to shape and enjoy the games played. Thinking about joining a local club or forming a team with buddies, but i reckon i still need improvement in some aspects.

It's been a good month, hasn't it?
A lot of things have occured, too many infact. I'm happy most is over with, but there are still some that trouble me. Such as...My uni offer and my future tertiary pathway. Even worse, my P's test is on the same day as my Uni advice day, which is compulsory for undergrad students. Arghhh, it had to be this Tuesday, not Monday or Wednesday...but Tuesday =/. I guess fate placed another barrier again. Now I gotta wait unitl Mid-March to be able to find a spot to book the test. Another 2 months delay, which does annoy me. I just want to get my P's over and done with, get my license and have some sort of freedom to drive around. I can't wait for that day.

Back on tertiary studies, I've been enrolled as a Bachelor of the Arts student at Melbourne Uni. There are times I wonder if this is the right choice, or if there are more opportunities to get into my desired course. (B.Comm). I guess...I'll have to wait for my second/third round offers from Uni to see if they accept me into my first preference course. If not, I'll have to transfer sooner or later. That means more hardwork, which I estimate a GPA of 80 to transfer course. Its a lot of work, but hopefully it'll pay off.
To me, a Bachelor of Commerce + Dip. of Languages (Jap) sounds better than Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Economics and Japanese), but if i'm not able to change courses, then thats another barrier fate has placed in front of me -.-". I'm really happy to be able to study at Melbourne though, as when I first walked on the campus, I knew it would be a good place to study at. I'll have to see what is in store for me in the future.
Work has been really busy, especially during christmas. There was a lion dance held at the restaurant, with 90 odd people attending, making us fully booked in the hot summers of January. The performance wasn't bad, but I was stuck near the counter, near the drums, behind a semi-opaque glass. All I saw was blurry streaks of red, dancing to the loud drum, cymbals etc. But I have to admit, I'm glad 2009 is coming.
On the note of 2009, Happy CNY eve to those that celebrate. For the younger generation, it means a lot (red packets anyone?), family gatherings and festive celebrations. I wished my parents took the day off, i haven't seen them take a good rest for CNY since I was born. They've practically had to work through CNY each year. It sucks, and i hope next year, they do take a well deserved break.
I haven't done anything else these days, just the days i play badminton with friends, or go out to see a movie or two. The rest, I spend my days playing games....haha, how nerdy of me. But the weather here has been crazy, hot weekdays, cold weeknights, rainy weekends. The Joy of Melbourne i have to admit, four seasons in one day, and the only thing missing is snow :D. I still wish to see real snow fall one day, it would be nice. Maybe i could one day, after Uni with my Japanese degree :P. Another future perspective to look forward to.
well...Happy new year to you all. Hope 2009 is better than 2008, more happiness and less sadness! :)

There is less than a week until the results are released. Kind of worried, Kind of scared. I'm not sure what to do if I don't get to enter the Uni I want to go to. I'm worried, really am. Another 6 days of nervous waiting before I truly succeed or fail, onyl fate will know.

There was some good news this week, the guy from last post decided to continue working at the restaurant, so I'm pretty happy that things are going well before Christmas.

Since I've been up to nothing, it was quite hard trying to find some sort of entertainment. But in the place were most don't find it entertaining, but rather informative, I found a version of an Orang-utan conveniently named 'Noel', after one of my buddies. Prepare to get your 'awwwing' face on... Haha

Utter frustration, point of decimation by it on my mind.

Someone just decided to retire before the busy season, at the restaurant. It'll be hard to find a replacement due to the christmas festive season, so now I'm annoyed. You ask why? Well, that means my mother has to be the temporary chef, which means my mother has another responsibility on top of managing the restaurant. I can already tell they work too hard, being in the same industry for well over 30 years does it take its toll on the human mind, body and spirit. Even worse is that, I found out if my mother has to take on any more workloads, the toll on her wrist will certainly worsen *downhill*, so they say.

I'm frustrated yet annoyed I can't help, and seeing that my mother takes on an extra load until replacement is found, its really going to be bad. Not just bad. Her wrist is "supposedly inflamed". I'm not too sure myself, but i do trust her words. Any worse the situation, and she'll require surgery. Ah man this sucks. I just hope a replacement is found real soon, I wish and hope every moment.

On a lighter note, 20 odd minds until my 18th birthday. Gonna savour the moment, make the best of it. Its going to be hard, as time flies, but I'll try my best. I'll post some picts if I take any to keep it as a momento and memories. This year has certainly been a rough year, a lot has passed, a lot has been done, another chapter of my life closes. I wish fate does have a good turn really soon, one that I shall be thankful forever. Only time will tell.

But right now...Damn it...

Thought I'll give you a very short update on my post high school, before Uni vacation.

The past two weeks have been uneventful to be honest, nothing much has happened except work, work and more work. At least I can save up for new computer: ) hehe.

There's less than a week til my 18th. Yay! (for those who forgot, its Dec 1) Yay awesomeness...I can drink legally in the public, doubt I'll drink at all. But more importantly, I can go sit the test for my P plates :D. I won't be sitting the test anytime soon, but I'll give it a shot and try my best.

How are you guys going? I know most of you have either finished exams or have a few left. Good luck! Hope you achieve what your heart desires.

Sine scientia ars nihil est [Part 2]

As promised, the second part to my most recent blog post....

The high school exams have finished, I'm happy that it has finished, but I miss my buddies, those who I have spent countless days, hours and minutes with. There are even some of my buddies whom I have known for 13 years, which is pretty much the start of my primary education. I hope you guys achieve your dreams and fulfil all your wishes, even if you may not be reading this. All the best for the future. ;) GOOD LUCK TO THE CLASS OF '08!

Back to my exam rant..haha. The exams were alright, like I said before, a good standard to challenge one's mind. I know I would have did really, really, REALLY badly in the spesh. Economics wasn't bad though hard, it was pretty challenging at most times. I think I stuffed up Japanese Exam's Listening component, didn't get to catch some answers. I just finished the exam in the nick of time, but I didn't get any time to check over my answers. I regret not doing so, knowing that silly answers may have occured in some of my responses. All I can do now is to wish and pray for a month, the dreaded 15th/16th of December.

Regret, one of the worst feelings people can experience. By the time we realise it, it is too late to do anything about it. There have been so many instances which exemplifies this in my life, such as: Not studying enough for spesh (doubt I would even need it again though), not continuing piano lessons, not utilising the chances I had (two of them) to experience the student exchange trips to Japan etc. The last one is something I still miss, and whenever I think about it, I felt so stupid, so dumb, so crap. I could have experience the best things of Japan, but I didn't. So to those who are reading, make the most of life and don't regret it. It might sound very cliche, but I bet it will happen to anyone. I have to accept this for the rest of my life.

Enough of my rants and thoughts for the past week or two. No more high school classes... *yay!* but my part time job timetable is going to get intense, esepcially times close to Christmas and New Year. At least I have time to catch up on some of my favourite past times....Gaming Anyone up for it? Haha...

Its been a while since I've updated my blog..sorry guys.
Exams are nearly over, I only have Japanese reading/writing and listening exam to sit. Yay my final exam :P. Can't wait afterwards, got the Japanese Dinner night, then the valedictory dinner ( a dinner to celebrate the end of year 12) woo~ haha.
The exams were do-able, but the Specialist Exam was crazily hard. Too hard infact. I left so many parts out and I hate myself for it. Just couldn't grasp what was asked. *sigh*...
Methods was alright, didn't find it hard at all. It was do-able.
I'll continue writing this another day..

Hmm, it seems everyone is getting sick, or if not, really busy. Its pretty close to the exams, two months left, so people are scrambling to get their notes updated and to prepare for the exams. That reminds me, I need to place a lot more preparation for Maths. Good ol' Maths >_____>".

Well currently on my to do list...there is..
1. Update and revise over Mathematical Methods notes.
2. Revise and update Specialist Mathematics.
3. Do as many practice essays as possible for English ( possibly 4 a week).
4. Learn and know Japanese Oral speech off by heart.
5. Do, as many as possible, Economics Practice Exams (Aiming for 6)
6. Re-read all my English Text again and if enough time, read them for a third time.
and last but not least...
Clean up my room. (It is a mess right now, been massively organising my folders, so ....papers everywhere.)

Mhmmm, its a long list and I have practice exams to worry about. They'll be on during the last week of holidays, so unfortunately, my holidays have been cut short. Dang.

A friend introduced me a song, well if you consider a 'lyric-less song' as a song.....hmm maybe not a song as much, more like melody xD. Its quite soothing and catchy, by a well known Japanese group of DJ's and tune-mixers. Check out Daishi Dance's Romance for a Journey below:

Thought I'll update yesterday, it sounded interesting.

After finishing work, I went to the city for a friend's belated birthday party. It was quite a hot day, considering Australia just finished winter season >_<; it reached 25 degrees, and was still quite warm at night.

I arrived an hour or so earlier to get a haircut. My hair, when pulled straight, surpassed my nose easily. It was a fairly busy Saturday, with the footy semi finals on, therefore there was so many football fans and supporters. My hair is now short ._. , but I haven't taken a picture yet :P.

Anyway I went to the designated meeting point at 6:15pm. The planned time was 6:30pm, but it took 30 more mins than planned for everyone to arrive. We celebrated with a dinner at an Italian restaurant, quite expensive mind you, but it was worth it. Took heaps of pictures, but it wasn't me who took them. So I have to wait a while before my friends send me the pictures, and by then, I will upload them here.

Around 9pm, we went to karaoke for an hour. We belted our songs, sang our hearts to content, whilst some of the attendants gave us a funny look :P. Around 10pm, we left the karaoke place, and since it was still a bit early, my friend and I walked all the way to Crown for some Galatic Circus fun xD.

Took us a good 30 mins from waiting for a traim, riding the tram and walking. Along the way, I took some pictures on my 'not so good quality camera phone'.

After that, my friend and I went to Crown, and had 3 hours worth of Arcade gaming fun. Haha. we departed at 1Am to go home, and surprisingly, it was still quite warm at night. Oh and I had some Krispy Kreme's xD. Yum Yum for late night snack.

Well..since I got tagged twice [ by both Phen and Noel], I've decided to hop on the bandwagon, so they say.

3 golden rules:

1. I played the piano for 12 years, for those who did not know. I've also played the violin for a year, recorder for two years, and the trombone for a year or two.
2. I have a collection of reasonable plastic gundam figurine and kits, and if I have the time to make them, I will.
3. I prefer Asian music over English music anyday. [Mainly Cpop, Jpop and Kpop].
4. My PSP is my universal entertainment console. It plays music, it surfs the net, it plays movies and games. Can't go wrong with it, except the size of the PSP can lead to frustrating situations [small pockets, anyone?].
5. I'm fluent in a few languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, 'enough to survive' Japanese, and English.
6. I tend to read a lot, especially when I'm bored. That includes reading newspaper and magazines and sometimes, random pages on the net.
7. I like to watch anime on a weekly basis :P. I'm into more..mecha style animes though, but anything interesting would be nice.
8. Friends say I'm really competitive in Badminton and Chess. Chess has always been a favourite past time, as it is challenging and fun.
9. I only took up Badminton as a hobby/sport this year. People have said I've really improved a lot since I first started. Anyone up for a match? :D
10. I like to play computer games, ones where it requires strategic thinking and planning.
11. On most weeknights, I sleep at 1AM and wake up at 7AM. I tend to have some eyebags, possibly enough to hold a week's worth of shopping and resemble a panda at the same time. The longest period of time I stayed awake for is...60 hours.
12. I'm on MSN most days, as I find it an easy way to communicate. [Even though I'm not on the computer most times, its convenient for people to leave messages].
13. I'm a commerce-y type of person and was never good at science based subjects. Worst mark I received was a 75% on my exam for Introductory Chemistry Class.
14. Comedy movies are much preferred over horror movies. Never liked Horror Movies, its a waste of time watching them in my opinion.
15. I'm a very organised person who has 'great management skills' [quoted from a friend], and my clock is set 5 mins ahead, my alarm clock is 20 mins ahead and my cellphone is set on normal time. I lack charisma though, as I'm a very outspoken person. I tend not to get involved in most cases unless it is really important, or for some reason, I was dragged into the situation.

Oh the joy. Today was the final day of term 3 [ Well technically, yesterday as its currently 1:20AM]. I suppose today was an alright day, bludge most classes, and the weather soared past the 20 Degree Celsius mark for the first time, since the middle of Autumn. Missed the summer weather.

Haven't done much that is considered anything interesting lately, things have been everything but exciting or happy. Its just been hectic studying.

My team was suppose to be in the state final competition, but due to the English SAC being on the same day [and 90% of my team mates being in Year 12], we had to forfeit. You know, that really is a let down. A huge let down, as it was me and most of my team mates final year to compete in the high school state chess finals. Maybe it was fate? I'm still anxiously waiting for my SAC result from that day. Its going to be the most nervous 3 weeks ever, for waiting on such a result.

3 weeks of studying, don't know if I'll even managed my planned..'1 subject per hour per day' scheme. 'Scheme'...haha, sounds like a fishy plan. Its great that I have 3 weeks to catch up on some much needed sleep. Any longer and I might collapse anytime soon.

Got my Specialist Mathematics SAC result back, its not very good to be honest. I've felt like...regretting ever to take up the subject. Zilch, no happy thoughts about it. I try to look on the positive side, like a good friend of mine has told me to do, but the results keep 'haunting' me.I've got to raise my bar, trying to, but it seems like it won't budge. Even of my ranting about my bad results. Heh.

Inter-house Badminton was the final interhouse competition for 2008, so currently, my house stands fifth overall. Mhmm, not the best result if your one of the vice-captains. I guess...fate strikes again. Our luck faired better for Interhouse Singing competition, a month or so back. We had to sing..'High' by Lighthouse family and 'Hey baby' by someone..whom I've unfortunately forgotten.

I guess I better head off now, got work tomorrow at 10AM. Just a slight question, does anyone ever read my blog [except for Phen] on a regular basis? If so, feel free to leave a comment in the box to the right. I've been getting the impression that no one does, so as a result, I've slacked off writing a bit.

Well it has been a while. Seeing Noel and Phen updating their blogs again, I feel obligied to do the same. Haha.
But yeah, well its nearly the end of term 3, with two weeks to go. The most time consuming part, where free time is basically extinct, is now. Most of my test/trial exams/ exam revision occurs now. Now until December..lol. Can't wait until my high school education finishes, but I will certainly miss my friends I have made, ranging from prep to even..this year. *sigh*

Well I got about 4 test stacked against each other in two days, both next week and the week after. This is really going to test my organisation skills, I've had this situation occur to me once, and I barely survived it. Sick of sleeping past midnight, sick of test, sick of waking up each day with panda eyes... I can't wait to start my tertiary studies, I just can't wait to...

I read something interesting, like..short stories which are philosophical, yet it can be applied in reality and real life situations. I'll end by showing you the passage [It is getting late, 1:30AM. Got 6 hours to sleep]. Well here it is:

There once was a little boy who had a nasty temper. He would just throw his tantrum on anyone, even to those who did not provoke him. The temper just went out of control. His father knew that if this were to persist it would jeopardize his life in the future. So, his father gave him a bag of nails, told him that every time when he lost his temper once, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

And so it began. On the first day, the boy drivo 37 nails into the fence. Days passed and over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. Along the way he discovered that it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn't have to hammer any nail into the fence. He had learnt not to lose his temper that easily anymore.

Excited over his success, he told his father about it. Then, his father told him to pull out all the nails. He complied, and took them away. As soon as he had done with it, he went to find his father again with all the removed nails. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence.

"You have done well, my son. But look at the holes that you drove those nails on it. Notice, that the fence will never be the same again," he said.

"When you say things in anger, you cause a wound and leave a scar in people's heart, just like how you carved a hole on the fence. You can stab a man with a knife and draw it out once. But my son, no matter how many times you say 'I'm sorry', even though the would is healed, the scar will still be there," he added.

"A verbal wound can leave nasty scars on people as bad as a physical one. You must remember, people who loved you are very rare jewels, indeed. They make your day, make you smile, make your life like a rainbow. They lend you their ears, they share words of praise and they always open their hearts to us. Appreciate appreciate them, my son."

Heya,
Sorry for the long delay of updating. Mid years exams and other stuff happened Haha. Finally a break from the school term. Its only 2 weeks long, but I'll try to enjoy it as much as I can :D.
Had the school formal, it was awesomely 'awesome?' haha. One word: Fantastic. Had so much fun. Was gonna post some pictures up, but I'm kinda lazy to, so....feel free to email me and i'll MSN some of them to you :P
Hmmm, so bored at the moment, don't know what to do and the holidays have just started. I'm guessing my daily schedule is....sleep, eat, shower, tv, games, homework, sleep, eat, shower, tv, work, games.... lol xD. Gonna be boring, but at least i can sleep in everyday. Yay to that.
I'll post more frequent updates since I am currently on holidays, so i'll catch up with you guys soon.

Hey guys, its been a while..missed me?
Haha, well a lot has happened, i guarantee it. Thats why i haven't updated in a while. Its not like i'm purposely doing it...just that i don't have enough time. So yea, recently all my SAC's are completed, so this week is my 'relax' week.
I also recently finished watching 1 Litre of Tears. Its a Japanese Drama Series, one which I highly recommend. It is a couple of years old, but its still a great drama to watch, made me cried a couple of times. Quite saddening and tearful. After watching it, it made me really think what's happening with my life at the moment, although not as bad, but i should do things i cherish before i am unable to. Knowing that every tomorrow is a mystery, i should do things before its too late...
A couple of weeks ago, my school held the interschool chess competition. We totally blew our opponents away, as we demolised them pretty badly, which made me feel bad. Haha... i guess my final chess game representing the school is now a memory of the past which i hold dear.
How's everyone doing? Mid years and final exams are held soon/now, depending on where you live. Good luck to you guys, wishing you all the best and aiming for what you wanted.

'Hecticly' Tired.

Hey guys,
This week was really busy, had the final games of the interhouse chess matches, more badminton tryouts and games, a lot of homework and SAC's i need to study and inter-school chess comp tomorrow. *sigh* so much to do, yet so little time for them all.
Well Tuesday was the day my interhouse competition days concluded at. We came equal second, so i'm not that sad at all, i thought i would have done worse. Glad thats over now, as i need to really really start concentrating on my studies more.
Badminton was...FUN! : D It was good exercise on the Wednesday afternoon. Although i was placed in the team to play that day, i just trained with my buddies...It was all good ; )
Inter-school chess...the first game we'll enter for the state finals...(thats if we win of course). Hopefully it won't be hard... There's only a couple of schools coming along..mhmm....
I also have work on Saturday night and the whole of Sunday. Sigh....Mother's Day is coming and its going to get busy. 10 hours of non stop work :[. Its getting late....(12:55AM)...nights guys and sweet dreams to those who are reading this. Wish me luck =D.

Mhmmmmmm~ [zombie voice] Need sleep...sleep! [ /end zombie voice]
Lol just joking, its been a hectic week for me, been averaging 5 hours at most per day. Self deprivation of sleep....damn school SAC's and test. Did a practice and normal SAC this week, i got 4 in the upcoming week. So yea, thats basically why i haven't updated in a week or so. Yet this is only the tip of the iceberg, much more to come. Can't wait for Year 12 to finish.
Badminton semi try outs occured this week, didn't do that well as i expected, but i'm determined not to get cut from the team...haha. There's still a couple more sessions to go, so hopefully it'll work out.
Everyone's so busy now, if not work, its studying for exams. Mid years are soon, luckily enough i don't have any subjects which require a mid year exam. Some of my buddies have 3, good luck to them ; )
Finished reading Heaven's Net is wide by Lian Hearn, awesome book. Its great but its not as good as i expected it to be, still lacks some 'posture' to the first book. I'm glad i finished it before the heavy work load kicked in. Loved the cover though..haha, i think i should go purchase the whole series.
Inter-house chess competition resumes next week, mhmm now my house is against the easy houses now. Hopefully we can ace them...haha. But our chances to win this year...is pretty much out of our grasp. Oh well, 8 times in 10 years isn't such a bad effort, like to see the houses go against that record :P
A week until Mother's Day, don't know what to give lol! I have work that day as well, from 11AM to 10PM. *sigh* that means i gotta finish up all my homework on Saturday. Bleh ~ X_x"

Boring Thursdays

Sorry that i haven't updated in a week and a bit, been busy preparing my SAC's and inter-house competitions.
ACS Chess competition went well i guess. Although we lost by one game, i'm not that unhappy at all, considering i won all my games and the team that won was obviously one of the best. It was really up to the last game to determine if we would win it or not. I guess fate was against us this year. But then, reflecting on myself and the last year of high school, there really is a drop of sadness in me. What's passed is past.
Inter-house isn't going so bad after all, not too sure what we are ranked, but hopefully its something good. We'll just have to see what happens...as the second half of the competition starts next week.
Badminton try outs soon, i gotta try my best to get in! Haha... Public holiday tomorrow, well since its 12:30AM, today. No school =D. Perfect opportunity to catch up on homework i missed. It's also ANZAC day, 'Lest we forget'...soldiers that were involved in the warfare, and those that didn't make it back. Its the least we could do for those that were brave and courageous, putting their lives on the line to protect the country. Lest we forget...

Heya guys,

Wednesday, thankfully its passed :D. My Methods SAC was alright, hopefully i didn't do that bad. i hope... gotta think positive xD.

Had my table tennis finals today. Yay we won, 11:5 games. i didn't expect for us to win, since we are playing against a very hard team. Revenge is sweet haha, as we lost to the same team in last year's final, losing by one lousy set of 48:49, with 8 games each. Well, i'm happy that we won the table tennis finals today, as it was the first time we won this event for the school in the past decade. ;D

Here's the picture of the medal i took at home, looks kinda crappy haha. The round circle is meant to be a golden circle with golden table tennis racquet and ball. My watch somehow managed to poke itself in the picture >.<" . Sorry for the really bad quality, it was taken with my phone :D. My digital camera is hiding from me...somewhere xP.

Term 2 started ~

Hey guys,
I managed to survive the first term, barely though. Haha, homework is piling up again..*yay*[Sarcasm intended]. Better gear up the work effort now...
Something sad happened today. When we came to school, all the year 12's were asked to meet. The principal then anounced that, an ex- class mate of our school has taken her own life. No that i was close friends with the girl, but i knew her and treated her as a good fellow classmate. The mood and atmosphere was sombre, no one twitched even an inch. It was sad knowing this, especially on the first day back. What's passed is past, but i really didn't want that to happen. I'm not a religious person as such, but i hope God blesses her throughout her journey.
I finally managed to obtain 'The Persimmon Tree' by Bryce Courtenay from the library at school. Going to start reading it soon, as i heard it was an alright book. But i'm still waiting for the final book of The Tales of the Otori Series (The heaven's net is wide). Hopefully i can get my hands on it soon, quite anxious to read it.
Had table tennis training just then, finished at 5. It was tiring, but we need the practice as the grand finals are on Wednesday. Wish me luck, and hopefully we can win this year. xD
That about sums up my day for today, its back to homework for me... *sigh* Wished the holidays lasted longer than 2 weeks. Cyaz and i'll blog soon...blogging is getting addictive haha xD

Mhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............. an hour before i go to bed, and yet i'm not excited haha. First day of term 2 soon, even worse, its winter uniform. *sigh*, the tie, long white shirt, long grey pants, utilising my jumper everyday... Its going to be a long term 2.

Achieved most of what i wanted done, so i gotta catch up within the last few days. Wish me luck guys, i'll be having fun.....well soft of, you get the idea xD

Wooo hey guys.
Yea kinda hyperactive, maybe its the soft drink...lol. 4 days til school starts...oh the joy [sarcasm intended]. THE JOY~!

Haha, enough of me being so high. A week less than school starts means....trying to overcome my mountains of homework. Yep..i bet i can juxtapose it with Mt Everest, but i'm working my way through it. Got all the easy ones done....English, Economics and Japanese are ticked... Now for Maths Methods and Specialist. Oh dear....Spesh is certainly not my best subject...actually its by far the best subject i've taken up this year. I know i should put a lot of effort into it, but really, the hard questions put me off, esepcially if i have no clue whatsoever in achieving the answers. Help ... anyone?

I've also spent most nights of this week, upto and including 4AM trying to do the homework. well i think i learnt my lesson...Always brew coffee beforehand ...lol. Nah i don't drink coffee, so i guess this is considered...self toture? I sleep from 4A.M to 1pm and half my day's gone already, with some purple eyebags leftover. T_T" ~~~

The annual Interhouse Chess competitions at school is happening soon. Actually in the second week back, i just realised that i have both the Interhouse Chess comps at lunchtime, and that week's Wednesday is the Inter-School ACS Chess competition. I have to organise the house team, as i'm one of the House vice captains, with my official house ranking/status/job as a person whose speciality is chess -_-" . That means a lot of pressure, as my House has won the interhouse chess comps 9 times in the past 11 years. And i've particiapted in the last 5 years. Not complaining and such, but my house has not a lot of good players, actually...2 and a half...where as another house has 5! Lol the odds are certainly against me.

Speaking of the annual Inter-school comp, our team will be against 6 other schools, with a few being very good opponents. We won the ACS last year, hopefully we can do it again, as my school has only won it a couple of times. This year, being my last year at high school, makes me and my team mates more determined than ever to win it. But the hopes of next year's comp is low, as the majority of the chess team are in Year 12. Good luck to them i say. May they prevail.
Oh wow...a busy few weeks ahead of me. I'll try and find some nice chess photos to show you guys in my yearly book, but thats if i find any. xD

First Wednesday back is my Methods SAC...Exponentials and Trigonometry. Open book with calculator, hopefully it won't be hard, as i have very very very little time to study for it. Wish me luck : D!

Hmmm kinda feeling tired but not wanting to sleep. Although my muscle still aches with pain, i still feel quite....'active' during 2am..Haha.

Sooo tiring today...

Heya Guys, time for me to review my past couple of days.
Been at work these past few days, fun but also tiring. Quite busy, much more than i expected in fact. Oh well, at least its good to have more business at the restaurant.
My friends arranged for a group of people to come and have a day out, and i was invited. As i had nothing to do, i happily accepted. Turns out that we went to MSAC to play badminton from 11AM to 12:30PM, so it was a perfect opportunity to practice my skills before the school team try-outs. Some of the guys turned up late, 30 minutes late to be exact. We managed to catch the tram just at the right time, which involved a lot of running towards the tram stop xD. We weren't sure where to get off, then when we saw the Albert Park Lake stop, we thought that was the right station, but we didn't get off. At that moment, i bet everyone was thinking..."oh no, THAT WAS THE STOP!" Thankfully , the next stop after Albert Park Lake was the right one. Hopefully i make the school badminton team this year, wish me luck =D.
From then we went to Melbourne Central, where we had lunch. Wasn't that hungry then, so i just bought an assortment of sushi. It was also my first time there, an area where i haven't been before. Overall, the sushi was awesome :P.
So then the girls decided to go shopping, and the guys want to watch a movie. We parted our ways, and the guys decided to watch "Drillbit Taylor" at Hoyts, which i tagged along since i had nothing to do. It was an alright movie, quite humerous at times, so i recommend anyone who's interested to watch it.
I also went to check out the badminton racquets, the 'good' racquet brand ranged from $50 to $300.... $300 is a fair bit, so i won't be considering those. I'll go for the $50-$100 i guess, as i'll be using the racquet full time for only half a year. Its going to be a big diet for my wallet T.T"
Came back home around 7pm, my arms are currently sore from not stretching, haha, either that or i haven't played sport in a while (2 weeks to be exact). Hopefully it recovers, as its aching now to type. At the moment i'm ice-packing it -_-"
That pretty much sums up my day, i'll get some rest early tonight. Need to recuperate energy for work tomorrow =(. Apologies for taking photos, was caught up in the moment, especially during badminton. Catch you later.

Yay the holidays have started,
Been working lately, been too tired to update haha, and there's nothing interesting about working anyway :P.
Been well guys? Finally i've been able to catch up on some lost sleep. xD. Hmm but there's still a big pile of homework i need to catch up on, i'd better not procrastinate x_X"
Yesterday, i went to an Italian restaurant, it was pretty good. The servings were quite big, imagine your keyboard is about the size of an entree dish. Unfortunately, i didn't realise that the entree dish was that big, and the mains was bigger. Ah well, managed one third of a sphagetti marinara dish, took the rest home. Wish i bought my phone along, i would have taken a picture just to show you how big the dish was.
Ah well, got to prepare for work soon, guess i'll update soon. Driving lesson on Thursday x_X".

Rain Rain go away, come again another day ><"

Hey Guys and girls,
Its been rainy this week (just like the title suggests), and it was stormy on Monday, resulting a blackout for an hour, thankfully i save my work with minutes to spare before my laptop lost power. Phew.
Its all gloomy, grey and dark. Its been rainy a little bit at a time. Ah, i guess this is Melbourne's welcoming for Autumn. We need the rain anyway, its good for us.
We had the inter-house Cross country event today...in the rain. Ran 3 kilometres, in about 15 minutes. Not so bad, but i guess i could improve easily on that. What made the day worse was that it was cold, rainy and windy. Not the best weather to be in when running. I'm safe and sound now, and hopefully i didn't catch a cold (running in t-shirt and shorts...not a good combination).
Well i guess i better prepare for my School Assesed Coursework for Economics. Good luck all whom are on holidays or nearing to it. Can't wait til the holidays are here, a short break but a much needed one for me. Take care all.

Hey Guys,
Enjoyed your short break? My Long weekend is half over, and it doesn't feel like it at all.Ah, time flies doesn't it?
My parents had a day off yesterday, so we went to the city to have dinner. Ah it was so windy last night ><". Anywayz, dinner was great, just that i forgot to take pictures to show you, possibly making you guys drool over your keyboard...Haha xD
Work was fun tonight, worked from 11am- 8:30pm. Ah it wasn't so busy, but i'm expecting it may be busy tomorrow night, so i might have to work tomorrow...and the day after that. I guess it will help my financial needs if i worked :p

*sigh* Another alright day, managed well these past couple of days.
Took the Japanese SAC, but i don't think i did that well. Really annoying is that i did well in practices, but then when the real one is here, i don't do as well as expected. I guess its fate :/
I randomly picked a DVD from a pile in the lounge room, and i was surprised i picked "Turn left,Turn right". It was a good movie, as i've seen it before, so i decided to bring back some memories. It was nice watching it again.
Whilst watching the movie, i found a pretty interesting quote/dialogue in the film, something about destiny. "Destiny is not just two people meeting each other, its more than that. Its when two people meet and fall in love with each other. " - Kinda deep and meaningful, so i thought i'll share it will you guys. Like the quote?
Well, didn't do well in table tennis today, lost my doubles. Ah well, there's always next time to beat them :D
Long weekends is coming up, can't wait for it. 5 days break, then 4 days of school, then Term 1 break afterwards (2 weeks worth). Can't wait!

Hey guys,
Yea i've been slack lol, nah just joking, been busy with homework, so i don't have much time to update my blog. My apoligizes to that, but moving on, its been a good couple of days.
The heat is still here, everyday is averaging 35+, don't know why this weather is coming in Autumn and not Summer =/
Weekends were alright, had time to relax a bit but not able to slack off my homework load. Haha, its as high as Mount Everest. Anyone wishing to climb the first Mt.Everest made out of paper? :D
Been sleeping a bit late at night, don't know why ><" Maybe its the hot weather at night and i'm not getting used to it, hopefully it goes back to Autumny weather. Hopefully.
School was alright today, didn't do much, and sport trainign was cancelled! i got to return home early, which was a bonus as it was getting around 39.5 after school.
I guess that sums up what's happened in the last couple of days. Gotta revise for Japanese SAC now, cheerio and i'll blog soon, but don't count anything interesting will happen =/

Good old Fridays~

Hey guys,
Such a hot day today, i think the tops was around 38/39 degrees. kinda unusual for Melbourne weather. It was so tiring to even stay awake and work in class haha. Its going to be over 30's this coming week.
Today was a good day i guess, casual clothes day, did minimal work in class, it was all good. Even better that it's Friday today, the start of the weekends! Can't wait til relax, play some games, finish some homework and sleep in! Finally i'm able to catch up on some lost sleep during the school week :p.
A thought just came in my mind, i kind of missing playing MapleStory SEA, as i got to hang out with my buddies and good friends. Those were the good times, but unfortunately, i got to study hard and get a good entrance uni result. Sacrifices.....Sacrifices....

Hey guys, got kinda bored of studying/doing homework, and its getting pretty late, so i decided to stop for tonight and yea....you get the picture of why i'm writing in here.
Just found out tomorrow's going to be a scorcher, 40 degrees tomorrow >_<" Better get my water bottle ready haha. Just checked out my Facebook ( feel free to add me if you want, just MSN me or leave a comment somewhere, I'll get back to you) , the horoscope there is kind of interesting. This is what it says:

Wow, it hit the spot on the patience and success thing, sometimes the horoscopes surprise me and how ironic/coincidental they are. This is for the Year of the Horse people, so yea, hopefully its a good sign for you too!

Think i should head off to bed now, sooner or later it'll be 1AM, but its going to be another sleepless night i suppose. You guys should go to sleep as well (if your reading my blog in the middle of the night that is :p), so stop reading and go get some rest. (or at least try to!) :D

Can't believe it...got myself so ready for it. *sigh* screwed up so much in my English SAC (school assessed coursework)... i'm doomed =(. Seriously i'm at an all time low, never knew schoolwork could be THAT depressing..it sucks. Even worse was that today's top temperature was 38 degrees...oh well, what's passed is past, no use worrying about it.
Meh, Casual clothes day tomorrow at school! At least thats a good thing, but its going to be 38 or so...AGAIN ><". At least there ain't any test tomorrow =D. Next week will be great, 4 day school week, same as the week after. Long weekends in sight :D (mind you, it will probably spent catching up on homework, esepcially after all those bad SAC marks).

Found a really neat song, and the english translation is even neater, love the song as well! :D Get ready for a long ballad, but i really like the song, anyone know the song if i just place the english translations here? :p

Hey guys, its me here again. haha. Yea, as the title says, its been a bad day, and its not going to get any better...
Just found out my Methods, Specialist and Economics Test marks today, not so great. Methods and Economics was a High, but for Specialist, a record low ._." I felt like i've underperformed (badly), so luckily there's still time to set my priorities correctly. Felt pretty bad though when i saw my results. *sigh*
Tomorrow is the day of my English SAC. Kinda nervous, as my past SAC's haven't been that ...exciting. Its after school, which is going to make me feel so tired and such. Luckily, Monday's a day off, so i get a long weekend afterwards. Wish me luck, and hopefully it won't be bad at all. Aiming for a High or higher.
Well Tomorrow's weather isn't going to help either, as its set to reach high 30's. Sitting the test during a hot day makes me feel tired and lazy, hopefully i won't tomorrow, or else i might fail >___<"

*Update* Told you my day was bad, just realised a big bruise on my knee. Don't know how that happen..but i'm grateful that its nearly the end of the day (11:40pm), let's hope tomorrow's a new and bright day =D

Hey guys,
Just had time to update my blog this month, haha. Homework, SAC's, everything just piles on and on, can't wait until i get Year 12 over and done with. Not even the completion of the first term and yet i'm complaining. Its so different from my usual personality huh?
Well, luckily, today's Labour Day holiday, managed to pull some time to relax after work and doing homework. Didn't even have time to go out and check out Moomba, its been a long time since i've seen the parades. Ah the good times when homework was just a sheet we had to do with simple addition. Miss my primary years, best times ever (in regards of schooling that is ^^v)
Well thats basically what happened in my last couple of weeks, boring huh? Hopefully something interesting happens on Good Friday, another day off school! >=D
Well the weather this week is unusual, high 30's everyday, so..uniquely strange in Melbourne. Even worse, playing table tennis in the gym on the second floor...makes me feel like i'm in a sauna. What a great start to my Autumn ><".

Hey guys,
Sorry its been 3 weeks since i've updated >.> school. its already been the first week of school, and i'm starting to get sick of it...oh well, 29 weeks left.

#$%^&*(*^$ Add/Specialist Maths.....spent a couple of hours on Saturday and Sunday trying to do the 31 questions, *sigh* don't even know why i chose the subject. But oh wells, it ain't that bad.I ain't going to give up so easily!

i guess its back to doing homework, gonna study hard for my final year of high school xD.

ahh sorry for the late entry, got caught up with homework and piano exam stuff.

Anyways, exams are coming soon, 1.5 weeks to be exact. i think i'll won't do well this semester. My laptop fan stuffed up....replaced it. Now its good as new =]. now i don't have much homework to do..but i need to prepare for the exams ><.

ahhh so cheesed off today, my bikelightg PCB stuffed up. i wasted 30 minutes sorting it out. could have finished by today, but the damn PCB had to ruin my last period of the day. Firstly...the LED CAME OUT....IT SNAPPED OFF. NEXT MY TRANSISTOR BLEW UP AND SHORT CIRCUITED....ARGHHH. Now i need to sort out which transistor stuffed up...and replace it. l'm gonna waste another period testing this out....................................... =.=;
